Unexpected Birthday Surprise #Part2

Went somewhere else for "round 2" with Kiat and Fong after Timbre. Thinking back the last time I went there was with Jon and Liying... it's like taking a trip down memory lane but this time it's just Jon, without Liying and I didn't know how to react at first while Jon just looked shocked I'm here. Lol

After all, it's been 2 years since we met and and I'm glad that we managed to talk a bit. He changed (in a good way), quite a lot in terms of how to dress up and his new career. Hearing him give up on love made me feel a little sad but to be honest...who am I to comment? I'm kinda the same way too. Just be happy, love will find it's way.

Met a friend of theirs that sings like he eats CD for breakfast!! And a Malaysian guy that speaks with a British accent LOL. He's the comedian of the party, I laughed till my face hurt. I apologize for forgetting their names, I am just so bad with names >-<

Fong and Kiat also improved in singing! They are so good now that I can't help but keep praising them because it. is. that. shocking.

Unexpected Birthday Surprise #Part1

 THANK YOU HARRIS, KIAT & FONG for the BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!! 

It was perfect, exactly how I liked it to be. Simple and helluva chill! 

It's the best.

They deserve a "Thank You Post" because the greatest gift you can give to someone is time, and when you dedicate your time, you are offering a part of your life that you will never get back...and I really appreciate that. 

Anyway, celebrating my birthday freaking 10 DAYS in advance(!?) is definitely the first for me. First time visiting Switch by Timbre too and it was packed with people all waiting for the band (To Much Drama) to start their next set. It's my first time hearing about them and Shu Kiat + Harris kept raving about Benjamin like legit fanboys I swear. LOL. I've never heard of TMD and Benjamin sorta caught my attention and I was staring at him the whole time because he was wearing glasses his vocal range was impressive.

Went to the washroom after the first set list ended and Harris, Kiat, Fong started singing Happy Birthday with a Chocolate Mille Crepe from Lady M! (omg I LOVE Lady M's crepes!) Yee Fong was singing EMBARRASSINGLY LOUD aka attracting a lot of unwanted attention and I had to fight him and cover his damn mouth. #FML He also sent a message on timbre's tv and Ben thought it was funny so he read it out loud on stage for the entire timbre to hear. #FMLx100 

Liying also secretly sent a message on tv asking me not to keep falling down LOL. I just KNOW it had to be her. After that, every other lamest joke Fong sent in got read by Ben too. /Sweatdrop. I give up. Accept the FACT that I have an embarrassing friends. It's kinda hilarious thinking back about it.

Honestly, the thought about even celebrating my birthday this year didn't cross my mind at all. At this age birthdays just feels like another 24-hours to me and right now, just spending precious time with the people I love on weekends, doing nothing and simply just enjoying each other's company makes me really happy. During the weekdays I just want to stay home to game, watch Seventeen and sleep.

Also, Harris says even when I'm almost 25 I still fell for his surprise while other people would have already suspected or guessed it... (;￣ー￣川 To my defense, Harris told me that the others wanted to have a belated birthday dinner for him so I assumed that this dinner was to celebrate his birthday. I actually saw the cake box too but didn't question it at all. (╯ಠ_ಠ）╯︵ ┳━┳ I should have more awareness but I'm just too lazy to think so much.

FTISLAND THE TRUTH 2017

FTISLAND finally returned to Singapore for their Concert and it was helluva LIT. Hong Ki's sexy husky vocal-cords live ٩(♡ε♡ )۶. Him trying to learn singlish and giving up, I just love his voice. He can speak gibberish and I'd be okay with that. 

Made new Primadonna friends from overseas and they were in crazy mode. You don't need weed or vodka and she's already high. I'm glad we met, she's funny. Chanel spotted Riona and Liying said that she smiled at her so she kinda strained a smiled back. That two faced backstabber don't deserve a smile though. Don't need fake people like you in my life #sorrynotsorry 

The queue to enter the concert was according to our concert ticket number and I preordered the tickets from 5tislandsg so we didn't know what number we'll get. Lucky for us 5tisland happened to have direct contact with the event organizers so our ticket number within the first 40 range! This really made my day. 

Stood beside a Jaejin fanboy and with unintentional stroke of fate/destiny /luck whatsoever, I somehow remembered that we actually met 7 years ago during Singapore's Kpop Night Concert, while waiting for FTI at their hotel. Those were the days man. It's rather amusing to see him still liking Jaejin after so long though. Faithful guys like him deserves my praise haha. Sad side story: Jaejin threw his guitar pick to him and it fell onto the confetti covered floor, we tried searching it for him but someone said it got picked up by another fan. That's so saddening, I got frustrated on his behalf and he's like it's alright.

Side note, I miss Hongki's old voice. He used to sing with his heart and his emotions made me feel what he was feeling too. His voice and ftisland's song genre changed over the years and I didn't felt this emotions anymore. However during this concert, his old voice came back and felt overflowing sadness when he sang one song. Maybe it's caused by his recent breakup but it at that moment, i remembered why ftisland is my no. 1 band.
